Hey there! Thank you so much for stopping by to look at my blog! My name is Jeanette Stewart and I am an avid lover of illustration and design, cats, video games, anime, beauty and fashion!
I live with my long time boyfriend and my two awesome cats, Oxford and Jango Fett. I am addicted to tea, especially green tea and earl grey. I have seen the movie The Secret of NIHM over 100 times and can just about recite all the dialogue. I lovingly refer to that movie as "Silly", because my mother thought it was silly the amount of times I would watch it back-to-back. I am in love with Japanese culture and fashion, with a focus on hime gyaru ( princess gal )and mori girl ( forest girl ) styles. I read many other blogs ( check them out! ) and they were the inspiration for me to start my own blog.
The Pintuck Owl is a personal style blog as well as an amalgamation of all of my aforementioned interests. Being that this is a blog about fashion, I chose to give it a fashion oriented name. What is a pintuck you ask? Well, a tuck is a fold or pleat in clothing; when the tucks are very narrow they are called pintucks. I am also obsessed with owls for some reason. I think they're pretty neat creatures! I hope this explains the naming convention of the blog.
